Several shops gutted by fire at Kasoa new market

Ninety-eight (98) shops have reportedly been razed by fire Kasoa new market.

According to reports shared on X by EDHUB, the fire started around 6 am on August 25, 2024.

The report further stated that the timely intervention of the Ghana National Fire Service rescued many shops.

However, several shops were partly destroyed.

"A devastating fire brought down about 96 shops at the Kasoa New Market early this morning around 6 a.m. According to reports gathered by EDHUB, several other shops were partially affected by the incident.

"However, the swift response and hard work of the Ghana National Fire Service saved many more shops," the post stated.
